Between Enjoyable Job and Well-Paid Occupation, My Opinion

The population now increases rapidly and so does the needs of the people. One of the needs is job. Since the beginning of civilization hundred years ago, people use money as the trade tools and do something to earn money. Now job is one of main necessity of life. Not only to earn money and fulfill the daily needs, job is also needed to actualize the existence of human. Some people prefer working comfortably to working for big income. On the contrary, the others think that earning is everything.

It is felt by many people that loving what they do is very important to support their productivities.  The income will follow. For example, an artistic painter may do not earn much money when he starts to be a painter. Because of his love to his job, he works continuously and produces more paintings. His skill will grow and the selling as well.  This example clearly shows that having an occupation which is wanted could make people become more productive because they love what they do. They do not look for big salary as they have already felt comfortable with the job which they do. The stress which is caused by job will not afflict them and it will keep them healthy. For another example, an employee of a large company is paid well but the tasks which he should do are countless. Every day he is required to do many tasks from his supervisor with strict deadline and high stress. The stress possibly will decrease his enthusiasm in work and his productivity too. When looking at this example, there is no doubt that a job with big salary requires a big responsible that is not easy and not satisfying. It is easy to see why many people agree with this argument.

The argument above has garnered a lot of support, but it is important to see another point of view. Most of people think that to work is about to earn money. Whether they love their job or not, it is not a big problem because their main goal of working is to make money as much as possible. For instance, a lower class labor may do not like his job, but he has to do it so he can fulfill his family needs. It is obvious when looking at this example that some people could ignore their feeling about their job because they need much money. For another instance, an employee with a high stress job may make good wage and he uses it to upgrade his life. The stresses he gets from his office will disappear because he can refresh himself using the money he has. This example makes it clear that big salary let the people buy what they want or what they need so they think that unenjoyable occupation is worth it. Those people decide to make their life happier by earn much money, rise their wealth, and get what they want from the money. Thus, this opinion is difficult to debunk.

After hashing out these two points of view, it is felt that both enjoyable job and good salary are notable.  The choice should be considered seriously by the people who will go through it.
